It has earned its reputation bringing the shyful classical guitar to the front stages. Creating advanced, influential repertoire and performances, distributing recordings of world premiere pieces, giving memorable concerts of diversified styles of music, staying open to our time and touring the world, as a mirror of the guitar itself.
GWPM is initiating recordings for major companies like Warner-Erato and Universal as well as with more refined lables possesing always artistic liberty. Our soloists play in opera houses and symphonic halls, unorthodox for some.
GWPM has successfully produced recordings of live concerts for TV channels like Mezzo and Arte, prize-winning recordings (Cd of the year, Opus d'Or) .

The latest album of Liat Cohen, classical guitar with Charles Castronovo, Tenor, Rolando Villazon, Tenor, Sandrine Piau, Soprano. A fascinating jewel album of composers torn between their native Spain & the influence of Paris – the capital of culture. From the end of the 19th century till the mid of the 20th the most beautiful of the Spanish-French music was written. This album gives light after three years of research to pieces never before recorded for the guitar-voice formation, performed so well by these four world-class artists.
A best-seller album by France’s leading artists. Liat Cohen – the classical guitar soloist, Natalie Dessay, Soprano with French cinema stars Agnès Jaoui & Helena Noguerra. The album contains two world-premiere recordings of arias by Heitor Villa Lobos on lyrics by Victor Hugo & La Fontaine composed in aris in 1913. “Les eaux de mars” and all the other greatest Bossa Nova songs in a completely new point of view, written, profound, researched music inspired by the new faces of Paris and Rio.
“Concertos” is the first album of Liat Cohen (Warner) and the twice Prize winner as the “Cd of the year” by Classical Guitar Alive and the national radio WRR 101 FM Texas. With the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra IBA, Frederic Chaslin and Rafi Kadishson Conductors. It contains a Fantasy for guitar and orchestra by the senior composer of Israel (his only piece for guitar) and Ravel’s three Hebrew songs arranged for guitar & orchestra by Narcis Bonet.
A double album recorded in Prague, solo and with the Talich quartet, “Virtuoso” is a stunning demonstration of the mastery Liat Cohen has on the guitar at its finest, from the very fast to the most moving moments, Italian music for guitar from Vivaldi to our days.

The only French musician who was invited to record at the Abbey of Mont Saint Michel and gave a closure recital for the 20th anniversary during the European culture heritage day. Liat Cohen has issued her faithful playing and to the originals meticulous pieces of J.S. Bach’s instrumental virtuoso strings solo music.

back to the origins of music- the Lute or as it is called – the Oud, has a determined role for the guitar. An Israeli, Moroccan & a Spaniard have decided to play together around the Mediterranean in a surprising album where the classical education of all three and their genuine talent already vastly known give place to original true written compositions. The trio has toured for three successful years.

GWPM has produced it's first album in 1999 entitled “Concertos” and released by Warner. The album was elected twice 'the CD of the year' in the USA. Since then GWPAM has produced over 16 prize-winner albums, TV recordings, radio live concerts and over 600 concerts.
The “Rio-Paris” tour included a best seller album release (Warner) and 17 concerts in packed opera houses of France during over a two-years period . The final concert took place at the “Olympia” legendary concert hall, Paris.
